JMC consistently boasts a high (90th percentile) post-graduation placement rate — one of the highest on campus! Between 20 and 30% of our students are recruited by top law and professional school programs and begin advanced degree programs directly after graduation.

JMC graduates pursue diverse careers in business, government, education, intelligence, international affairs, public relations, law, sustainability, and research (just to name a few).

JMC's Career Services Assistant Director Karissa Chabot-Purchase collects post-graduation outcomes information about Madison graduates within six months of graduation, per reporting standards. Classes include graduates from the period commencing in fall term through the subsequent summer term (i.e., Class of 2024 includes Fall 2023 and Spring/Summer 2024 graduates).

Knowledge Rate: 99.2% from connections with 258 of 260 graduates. The university’s average knowledge rate is around 71%.

Career Outcomes: 61.9% of graduates are employed (full- or part-time) and 29.2% are engaged in continuing education. Another 2% are involved in other outcomes that include the military or service organizations.
