Madison grads earn Fulbright ETA awards
Four James Madison College graduates received 2026-27 Fulbright English Teaching Assistant awards and will teach abroad in Azerbaijan, Turkey, Taiwan and Brazil.
For nearly six decades, James Madison College at MSU has cultivated a tradition of academic excellence in interdisciplinary public affairs education. Our innovative approach to interdisciplinary education in public affairs has produced remarkable achievements among both our distinguished faculty and exceptional students.
Our students have earned prestigious national and international recognition, including Rhodes Scholarships, Marshall Scholarships and Truman Scholarships, while taking leadership roles in student government and earning membership in Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society and the MSU Honors College.
Our faculty members equally excel in their fields, with recognition that reflects our commitment to innovative scholarship in public affairs and transformative teaching that prepares globally competent graduates.

JMC student Ashlin Stover has been named MSU's first Voyager Scholarship recipient, earning up to $50,000 in financial aid and a summer work-travel stipend.
