JMC Student Office Hours: Ask a Madisonian
Admitted studebts are invited to Jjoin our monthly virtual Office Hours to connect with JMC student ambassadors in a casual setting. These drop-in sessions are an opportunity for you to ask questions and learn what it’s really like to be a Madisonian. Events begin with a short presentation, then open up for you to ask questions.
These events will be hosted via Zoom from 6 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 17, Dec. 15 and Jan. 18. Applicants will be able to register for these events in MSU's Applicant Portal once they have been admitted to MSU.
Meet Madison Days 2027
Admitted students and families are invited to Meet Madison Days to get an in-depth look at James Madison College. These events are a chance to dive into the details that make JMC unique. During Meet Madison Days, you’ll:
- Hear directly from the JMC community. Faculty members, academic advisors, outreach specialists, and internship and career coordinators will be available to help you learn more about your future journey at the college.
- Participate in a mini-class led by a JMC professor. This session will give you a taste of what to expect as a JMC student and allow you to explore the college's four majors firsthand.
- Tour Case Hall. JMC is a residential college and Case Hall is the center of our living-learning community. Our short tour will offer a closer look at JMC’s classrooms, study spaces and faculty offices.
Most importantly, you'll connect with current students who can share their experiences. Hearing their perspectives will give you a window into what life is actually like as a Madisonian.
Spring 2027 Meet Madison Days will be hosted from 2 to 4 p.m. on Feb. 15, March 5, March 26, April 9 and April 23. Applicants will be able to register for Meet Madison Days in MSU's Applicant Portal once they have been admitted to MSU.
