MSU has nominated fourth-year JMC student Adam Peck (IR) for the McCall MacBain Scholarship, which brings together up to 30 exceptional students annually who strive for positive change through meaningful leadership roles. Peck is one of three MSU nominees this year.
McCall MacBain Scholars connect with mentors and participate in an interdisciplinary leadership program while pursuing a fully funded master’s or professional degree at McGill University in Montreal.
MSU’s nominees for the McCall McBain Scholarship are:
- Adam Peck, a fourth-year Honors College student majoring in international relations through James Madison College and Russian through the College of Arts and Letters, with a minor in Russian and Eurasian studies. He is from Canton, Michigan, and attended Salem High School.
- Tammy Thai, a fourth-year student majoring in human biology through Lyman Briggs College with a minor in bioethics. She is from Lansing, Michigan, and attended Holt High School.
- Karter Burgdorf, a 2023 graduate with a degree in environmental biology/zoology from the College of Natural Science. He is from Bay City, Michigan, and went to Western High School.
