Meet Caroline Beckrow — a compassionate, community-oriented senior from Stevensville, Michigan, whose journey through MSU has been filled with purpose, gratitude and exploration. Majoring in Human Biology and Social Relations & Policy, Caroline is a proud member of the Honors College, James Madison College and Lyman Briggs College. With a unique blend of scientific curiosity and a deep commitment to social justice, she is honored to represent Michigan State University on the 2025 Homecoming Court.

Caroline’s time at MSU has been defined by meaningful experiences inside and outside of the classroom. As a member of the Osteopathic Medical Scholars Program, she is passionate about public health, equitable healthcare access and building strong, reciprocal community partnerships. In the future, she hopes to attend medical school, specialize in oncology and serve on a community health board to help advance public health initiatives at the local level.

Beyond her academic pursuits, Caroline has made lifelong memories in the MSU Marching Band and Campus Bands and remains a fierce supporter of Spartan athletics and arts. She credits much of her growth to MSU’s Living-Learning Communities and education abroad opportunities, which broadened her worldview and inspired a life of service and global engagement.

One of Caroline’s favorite places on campus is the Beal Botanical Garden where she finds joy in watching the seasons change, reading in the sunshine and admiring the spring tulips at the reflecting pool. As a Homecoming Court representative, she hopes to help others feel seen, safe and empowered while spotlighting the resources and communities that have shaped her Spartan experience.

As we each walk our unique paths, I encourage us to lead with kindness and open-mindedness — with our Spartan Will to make the world a better place. It is an honor to serve this community and to help open doors for future generations.

Taylor Toth

Taylor Toth is a Political Theory & Constitutional Democracy and Social Relations & Policy student whose passion for law, service and student advocacy reflects her lifelong Spartan pride and commitment to community leadership.

  • Hometown: Milford, MI
  • Colleges: Eli Broad College of Business; Honors College; James Madison College; College of Social Science
  • Majors: Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy; Social Relations and Policy
  • Minors: Business; History; European Studies

Meet Taylor Toth — a spirited and engaged senior from Milford, Michigan, whose Spartan pride runs deep. A double major in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy and Social Relations and Policy, Taylor is a member of the Honors College, James Madison College, the College of Social Science and the Broad College of Business. With a passion for leadership, service and law, she is honored to represent Michigan State University as part of the 2025 Homecoming Court.

For Taylor, MSU is more than a university — it’s a second home, shaped by family tradition and personal growth. As the daughter of Spartan alums, she grew up attending MSU games, shows and events, falling in love with the campus long before receiving her acceptance letter. Her favorite spaces, like the JMC Student Senate Office and the Beal Botanical Gardens, are places where she’s built lasting friendships, honed her leadership and found balance through joy and reflection.

Taylor’s experience at MSU has been defined by her active commitment to community. As Internal President of Empowering Women in Law, President of the James Madison College Student Senate and a frequent volunteer through the Center for Community Engaged Learning, she has worked to ensure that student voices are heard, supported and represented. After graduation, Taylor plans to attend law school and continue using her voice to champion equity, justice and access — wherever her legal journey leads.

As a Homecoming Court representative, Taylor hopes to inspire others to get involved in ways that are meaningful to them — no matter how big or small.

Every action — whether it's volunteering, joining a student org or playing IM sports — helps build a stronger, more connected community. MSU has shaped me into an engaged citizen and lifelong Spartan. I hope to inspire others to take full advantage of all this place has to offer.
