James Madison College established the Founders Circle to recognize donors who support the College through annual gifts of $1,000 and above. The impact of the Founders Circle is profound. Members in the Founders Circle provide the largest source of private donations for the College. Contributions have helped attract new faculty members, capitalize on innovative technology, conduct research and outreach activities, and offer financial aid to promising and hardworking students.
Founders Circle members can allocate their gift to one or multiple designations in the College. There are three annual contribution levels for membership.

Members are presented with a distinguished pin to wear at College events or anytime they wish to show their support. The Founders Circle members also receive invitations to special events and regular communications from the Dean. At the same time, contributions to the Founders Circle are counted as gifts to Michigan State University and can qualify for membership in a MSU donor society.
