PRIME Pathways Summit

The PRIME Pathways Summit invites high school students from Lansing and communities throughout Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton counties to spend a day exploring how their interests can connect to college, careers and the issues they care about.

Through interactive activities, small-group conversations with James Madison College faculty and mentoring from current JMC students, PRIME participants will have the opportunity to explore academic and career pathways in areas such as law, public service, global affairs, policy, community leadership, advocacy and more. 

Rather than asking students to already know what they want to major in or pursue as a career, the Pathways Summit is designed to help them ask new questions, identify possibilities and learn from people who have navigated similar decisions.

Students will leave with new connections, a clearer sense of the opportunities available to them, and ideas for how their interests can become meaningful academic and professional pathways.
