The 2026 James Madison College Research Showcase will be held on Friday, April 24, in Case Hall. Applications to participate in this year's event will open in early 2026.

What is the Research Showcase?
The JMC Research Showcase provides Madison students an opportunity to showcase their scholarship and creative activity. This event brings together an intellectual community of undergraduate students to share their work with faculty, staff, peers, and external audiences.

Why should I participate?
Participants will gain experience in presenting their research and answer questions about their work from audience members and guests.

What does participating involve?
During the Research Showcase, students will be arranged in panels and deliver a presentation (15 minutes or longer) that provides an understanding of the research that was conducted.

What kind of research can I present?
Any research you have conducted for Madison classes or other research you’ve been involved in at JMC and/or MSU is eligible.
