Join PeaceWorks on Campus for a powerful conversation with Israeli and Palestinian peacebuilders who are challenging the status quo and working toward a better future. Bringing firsthand experience and deep insight from the ground, these peacebuilders will share their vision for coexistence and discuss how emerging leaders in America can help uplift and support their efforts. This is a unique opportunity to hear personal stories, ask questions, and explore meaningful ways to engage in dialogue on this topic. 

 

Ezzeldeen Masri was born in Gaza City in 1971. From 2005 - 2006 Ezz was the First Secretary in the Palestinian Diplomatic Corp overseeing organizations working on promoting peace between Israel and Palestine. In November 2006, he opened the OneVoice Palestine-Gaza office and was appointed as the Executive Director. After the end of the first Gaza War, he moved to Ramallah City and accepted the job of Director of Development for OneVoice Palestine. In the summer of 2011, he moved back to the Gaza Strip and was appointed as Director of OneVoice-Gaza. He returned to the United States in 2015 and is currently the Chief Field Officer of the PeaceWorks Foundation. In 2014, Ezz was featured in the New York Times for his work with OneVoice in the Gaza Strip. 

  

Leehe Bronstein embraces peace, compassion, and friendship as core principles in her life. Originally from Ramat Gan, Ms. Bronstein serves as Field Manager at Darkenu, Israel’s largest nonpartisan civil society movement advocating for democracy, equality and social justice. She also engages in peacebuilding through cross-border Israeli-Palestinian events hosted by Geneva Initiative, a non-governmental organization working to promote the two-state solution in Palestinian and Israeli societies. Prior to joining Darkenu, Leehe managed the Israel Scouts delegation to the United States. Her mother’s parents were born in Libya, while her father’s parents are American-born.
