5th Annual Malcolm & Ann Kerr Lecture featuring Zara Chowdhary

Join the Indian writer, producer and educator Zara Chowdhary for a reading from her debut memoir, The Lucky Ones, a personal account of her experience as a 16-year-old during the 2002 communalist riots and anti-Muslim pogroms in Gujarat.

Organized in collaboration with the Creative Writing Program, Muslim Studies Program, and Visiting International Professional Program (VIPP) and cosponsored by the Asian Studies Center, Global Studies in the Arts & Humanities, and James Madison College.
