The James Madison College Academy for Civic Education brings Michigan teachers and students face-to-face with the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, Federalist Papers, and founding documents that shaped American democracy. Through intensive seminars exploring political institutions, economic principles, statesmanship, and civic virtue, participants develop deeper understanding of the American achievement and their responsibilities as citizens.
