
Professor Stein-Roggenbuck's research focuses on the history of American social policy, health care and parent dependency policies. Her book, Negotiating Relief: The Development of Social Welfare Programs in Depression-Era Michigan, 1930-1940, was published in 2008 (Ohio State University Press).
