Biography
Professor Stein-Roggenbuck's research focuses on the history of American social policy, health care and parent dependency policies. Her book, Negotiating Relief: The Development of Social Welfare Programs in Depression-Era Michigan, 1930-1940, was published in 2008 (Ohio State University Press). She has published articles in the Bulletin of the History of Medicine, Social Service Review, and the Journal of Policy History.
