JMC Student Senate Gala

JMC Gala is an event organized by the James Madison College Student Senate to raise funds for Michigan State University's Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) support in James Madison College. Held at the University Club in East Lansing on April 1st, JMC Gala is an opportunity for the Madison community to reconnect and celebrate one another, while raising money for our Spartan Community.

JMC Gala was formally known as Charity Ball, a long-running JMC tradition until the pandemic. This year, the James Madison College Student Senate has revamped this semi-formal event to include a dinner, awards given to honored student leaders and faculty members, as well as a silent auction. Attendees will have the chance to bid on a variety of items donated by local businesses, organizations and individuals.

This year, the silent auction proceeds will be donated to Michigan State University's Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS). We hope to raise as much money as possible to support the mental health and well-being of our students at the James Madison College in the wake of the mass shooting that occurred on February 13, 2023.
