A closer look at what happened in England & Scotland when the government began requiring certain behavioral rules be followed to receive welfare benefits and services. Drawing from a large research project (2013 - 2018). Professor Peter Dwyer will discuss the effectiveness, impact, and ethics of welfare conditionality. Dr. Dwyer is a Professor of Social Policy at University of York (UK) & Director of the Welfare Conditionality Project
