Jews, Gender, and Difference in the U.S. Armed Forces: A Historical Discussion

In the panel discussion, the Michael and Elaine Serling Institute for Jewish Studies and Modern Israel will sponsor an exploration on Jewish soliders' historical experiences and what they tell us about religious outsiders and the military today.
Dr. Ronit Stahl (Assistant Professor of History at the University of California, Berkley), Dr. Jessica Cooperman (Assistant Professor of History and Jewish Studies at Muhlenberg College), and Dr. Kristen Fermaglich (Associate Professor of History and Jewish Studies at Michigan State University) will as panelists of the historical discussion. Dr. Amy DeRogatis (Professor of Religious Studies at Michigan State University) will moderate the panel.
