JMC Constitution Day Lecture

Constitution Day is intended to increase student awareness and appreciation of this important document of freedom.  All federally funded schools and colleges are required to commemorate the anniversary of the 1787 signing of the U.S. Constitution

In celebration of Constitution Day, James Madison College welcomes alumnus Eric Sirotkin (JMCD '78) as this year's special guest speaker. Mr. Sirotkin has over 30 years of experience as a human rights lawyer and is the author the newly released memoir Witness: A Lawyers Journey from Litigation to Liberation. Eric's peacemaking activities have taken him around the world, including South Africa where he assisted the creating their constitution in 1991.
