The eleventh biennial Race in 21st Century America conference bring to campus leading scholars, community activists, public officials and residents, representing racial, ethnic, gender, sexuality, and other forms of diversity, to participate in an important conversation with the Michigan State Community about the problem of race in America. The Race Conference is a one-day event that is fundamentally designed to examine systems of power and privilege in the United States, especially the impact of these “systems” on communities of color. The conference feature keynote addresses and discussions from leading scholars and MSU students.
