As part of your first few days on campus, we've created a number of Fall Welcome activities that we hope will inform, engage, and acclimate you to the JMC community. Please note some events will be held virtually via Zoom. The zoom links and passsword for our virtual events can be found via the JMC Zoom Events Directory. You will need your MSU NetID and password to access this page.

Speak About It, Virtual Prerecording
Speak About It is a virtual performance that discusses healthy relationships through directly addressing issues of consent, sexual assault, and bystander intervention. The performance is inclusive of all genders, sexualities, and sexual choices. YOU MUST WATCH THE PRERECORDED VIDEO BETWEEN AUGUST 28 – SEPTEMBER 3. A link to the video will be provided via email by August 27.

Official welcome event for all incoming Spartans. President Samuel L. Stanley Jr., M.D., Provost Teresa K. Woodruff, Vennie Gore, Senior Vice President for Residential and Hospitality Services and Auxiliary Enterprises Interim Vice President for Student Affairs and Service, and Mark Largent, Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education & Dean of Undergraduate Studies will extend greetings to you during the event.

JMC's 'Fresh and Profesh' seminar is a mandatory, half-hour workshop for all first-year students meant to serve as an introduction to the services available through JMC's Career Services and Field Experience Offices. The webinar will discuss expectations about internships, career preparation, and social media presence.

JMC Major Open House, Club Spartan - Third Floor Case Hall
During last spring, JMC hosted virtual “Meet the Majors” events to introduce to you the various JMC majors/minors and faculty prior to selecting your major preference. This follow up to “Meet the Majors” is a great opportunity to get familiar with students and faculty from your selected major(s) in person. JMC staff from the Career Services Office will be on hand to provide information about internships and education abroad opportunities.
