Working Papers Submission Instructions
Who may submit
The purpose of the Working Papers Series is to make available papers
authored by James Madison College faculty and associated scholars. Papers
presented at James Madison College sponsored colloquia and conferences may
also be included.
Paper Format
Papers submitted for inclusion in the Series must be near their final form,
and include an abstract and suggested keywords. Submissions may be in Word
or WordPerfect. Do not submit PDF versions, because we add a Series cover
page before converting to PDF.
All papers in the Series will be available on the website in PDF format,
requiring Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Copyright Issues
Authors retain copyrights to papers in the James Madison College Working
Papers Series. You should be contacted for permission if someone wants to
add your paper to another online archive or electronic bulletin board.
Authors of papers in the Series are free to include reference to their
papers in publicly accessible indices of working papers.
Series Organization
Papers will be organized by series and order of submission. A series
includes papers submitted for inclusion during an academic year (September -
August). Within each series, papers will be numbered by their order of
submission. Thus, Working Paper No. 0506-13 would be the thirteenth paper
submitted to the Series during the 2005-2006 academic year.
