Hey, I’m Alyssa.  I’m currently a junior majoring in International Relations.  I’m also specializing in political economy and completing the business cognate.  I love to travel and spent the summer of 2008 in Brussels for study abroad.  After Madison, I plan on going to law school.  If you have any questions feel free to ask! I’m looking forward to working with you!

Hey, I’m Brianne.  I’m a senior majoring in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy and History.  This year I’m working on a senior thesis on the thought of Pierre Manent.  Next year, I plan to begin graduate studies in political theory. When I’m not somewhere in Case Hall, I’m involved in choir with the Women’s Chamber Ensemble in the College of Music.  I also work in the President’s Office here on campus and am on JMC Student Senate.  I love Madison and I’m really excited for the coming year in the Consultancy!

Hi, I'm Ellen.  I'm a sophomore pursuing a double International Relations and Comparative Cultures and Politics major with a Spanish minor.  I also have an interest in Russian and Eastern European Studies, and am studying abroad in Russia for the summer of 2009.  After graduation I plan on attending law school to study international law, but not before spending some time working with either the Peace Corps or Teach for America.  I live in (and love) Case Hall, and continue to thoroughly enjoy my time at James Madison College. I'm eager to work with all of you and sincerely hope I can be of some help!

Hey, everyone! I'm Skye. I'm a sophomore majoring in Comparative Cultures and Politics, with a specialization in International Development and a minor in Russian. I live to travel, and I spend as much time abroad as I can afford! I spent a year in Hungary as an exchange student in high school, and at MSU I went to South Africa on the freshman seminar abroad, and spent last summer on the Democratization and Economic Transition in Eastern Europe and Turkey program. I plan on spending my entire senior year abroad, studying Russian for a semester, and doing my field experience with BRAC in Bangladesh. When I graduate, I want to join the Peace Corps and work on community development projects. Here on campus, I'm a member of the Kila Nafasi Student Group, which raises money to sponsor the secondary school education of girls in Kenya.  I look forward to working with you in the Consultancy

Hey, I’m Sam.  I’m a fourth year student majoring in both PTCD and Economics.  I’m also a member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity.  After Madison, I plan on going to law school, but there is an outside chance that I will pursue graduate studies in economics.  I’m interested in everything that the Madison disciplines have to offer and am excited to work with you on any writing issues that may arise during your time at Madison.

Hey, I’m Andrew. I’m a 4th year student at MSU majoring in international relations, and I’ll be graduating in May. I am currently working on my senior honors thesis on security issues in Central Asia. I studied in Freiburg, Germany from September 2008 through August 2009, and I also participated in a study abroad program in Cambridge, England in July of 2007. After I graduate, I hope to do my Master’s work in international security. I look forward to seeing anyone who comes into the consultancy and I would love to work with you on any writing issues you might have!

Hello, there! My name is Joan. I'm a second-year student studying Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy, and also taking classes in the Philosophy, Natural Resources, and Environmental Economics departments. During the summer, I enjoy backpacking, and I have a year-round passion for cooking. I'm not sure yet what I want to do after graduation, but my plans will probably include law school. During the next few semesters, I'm excited to learn with you in the Writing Consultancy, and look forward to helping you in any way that I can!

Hey, I'm Andy. I am a sophomore majoring in PTCD, with a minor in Educational Studies. I also have a deep interest in American history, and spent this past summer as a historical interpretation intern in Virginia. After graduation, I would love to pursue a career related to either educational policy or Civil War era studies. I've come to truly appreciate all the opportunities available to students here at Madison, and I look forward to meeting you and working with any writing issues you may have!
