Becky Wilinski Junior
CCP, English |
Hi! My name is Becky and I am an English and CCP major working on my Secondary Education Certificate. I also work at the Lansing City Rescue Mission (a shelter for Women and Children) and am a mentor in Case Hall. I recently went on a medical missions trip to Nicaragua and worked with children. The amazing experience has inspired me to advocate for these children by trying to provide books for their local library. Other than trying to change the world I like to knit, crochet and do anything crafty. I also have two fish that keep me company when I am reading piles of literature for my MC 230, ENG 211H and ENG 302 classes. I look forward to meeting and helping you work through some writing dilemmas. |

Naomi Joseph
Senior
IR, English
|
Hi! I'm Naomi. I'm an International Relations senior through James Madison and an English major through the College of Arts and Letters. This is my first year working as a Writing Consultant. Beyond Madison, I'm really interested in economic development, especially in China and South America. I'd really like to, one day, be an economic consultant to foreign governments or become an English professor. Or both, who knows. Until then, I keep busy by reading a LOT--I like world literature, especially novels written by Asian American, Southeast Asian American, and some Latin American writers. As if that's not enough, I also plan on joining IRO this fall. Right now, I'm taking MC364 and three English classes. I've also taken MC295, MC220, MC221 and, of course, 201, 202, 111 and 112. I look forward to working with you! |
