The James Madison College Alumni Association will be awarding scholarships to support Field Experience internships undertaken in Summer 2009, Fall 2009, or Spring 2010.
Application forms can be obtained at the JMC Field Experience Office (355 S. Case Hall). Applications must be accompanied by 500-word essay describing the internship opportunity being sought, the ways in which this internship will enhance the student’s academic program, and the difference the award will make to the student’s ability to complete the internship. Applications must also be accompanied by a letter of support from a Madison faculty member. Any Madison student enrolled for MC 400/401 during the semester of the internship is eligible to apply. Runners-up for these scholarships will automatically be considered for the Lily Ann Klinger Memorial Award (for SRP applicants), and the College-sponsored Dolley Madison Field Experience Scholarships of $500. Applicants pursuing internships in Chicago will also be considered for the Chicago Club of the JMCAA Awards.
