to support students undertaking JMC Field Experience internships in Chicago

The Chicago Club of the James Madison College Alumni Association will be awarding a small number of $500 scholarships to support internships undertaken in Chicago in Summer 2009, Fall 2009, or Spring 2010. Awards will be made as part of the unrestricted JMCAA Field Experience Scholarship competition. Applications to that competition to support internships in Chicago will automatically be considered for the Chicago Club scholarships

Application forms can be obtained at the JMC Field ExperienceOffice (355 S. Case Hall). Applications must be accompanied by 500-word essay describing the internship opportunity being sought, the ways in which this internship will enhance the student’s academic program, and the difference the award will make to the student’s ability to complete the internship. Applications must also be accompanied by a letter of support from a Madison faculty member.
