CALL FOR PROPOSALS

Inventors Day
Friday, April 11, 2008
9 am - 2 pm
The Henry Center for Executive Development
Michigan State University

Students at Michigan universities with inventions or innovative research and ideas relevant to the Renewable Energy and Biofuels economy are invited to submit proposals

Proposals will still be accepted until the end of March for poster presentations!
Formal presentations are being selected from among the proposals received by the original deadline.

Inventors Day is a forum for graduate and undergraduate student inventers and researchers to meet with acknowledged experts and prominent business professionals in the renewable energy and biofuels industries to foster university-industry relationships and raise awareness of student research being done in Michigan's universities.

The five most promising submissions will be asked to give a formal presentation at the event. Each presenter will receive a $1000 award. Others will receive invitations to present their work in a poster session where they will interact with top researchers and business professionals to network and forge valuable partnerships.

Funds to help cover travel costs will be available on a need basis.
