Visit James Madison College

Small Group Visits

Register Online - Due to a high demand for our Junior Visit Days, Meet Madison Days, and individual appointments, we are adding small group visits to accommodate families interested in learning more about James Madison College at Michigan State University. During this visit, you will meet with an academic advisor who can provide an overview of JMC, the opportunities through the college, internships, career paths, and the academic requirements of the program. Each date will be open to up to 5 students and families.

Green and White Days

Green and White Days are beneficial to high school sophomores and juniors interested in visiting campus over the summer. Each day is packed with great information about MSU admissions, academics and majors, campus life, housing, scholarships, and life as a Spartan student. As part of each Green and White Day, students have the option to visit 2 academic units, including James Madison College. Sign up for this program to learn more about MSU and JMC! Fall Visit Days

These programs have concluded for 2016. Please check back in August 2017 for new dates!

Fall Visit Day programs are specifically tailored for high school seniors and their families and will introduce students to James Madison College, MSU's Residential College of Public and International Affairs. Sessions will include presentations from James Madison College, MSU Admissions, MSU Honors College, a student panel, and tours of academic areas of Case Hall.

Junior Visit Days

These programs will be held on February 17, March 15, March 24, and April 14. Register Online now!

Junior Visit Day programs are geared toward high school juniors and their families. Attendees will receive an overview of James Madison College, the opportunities at the college and university, and information on how to apply. A tour of James Madison College is also offered.

Future Spartans Programs

Current sophomores and juniors are encouraged to attend one of these programs to learn more about life in one of MSU’s Residential Colleges. These programs will provide a special opportunity for interested students to hear presentations and meet representatives from MSU’s three residential colleges – James Madison College, Lyman Briggs College, and the Residential College in the Arts and Humanities.

College Fairs & High School Visits

Representatives from James Madison College often travel with the MSU Admissions Counselors as they visit high schools throughout the Midwest. We are also often found behind the MSU table at college fairs around the country.
