Recent Faculty News
In October 2008 Louis Hunt was a Visiting Scholar at the Central Institute for Higher Tibetan Studies in Sarnath, India, where he studied classical Tibetan and worked on Buddhist political thought. He also delivered a lecture to the faculty and students of the Institute. Louis Hunt has been invited to serve as a panelist in late January 2008 for the National Endowment for the Humanities, reviewing applications in Collaborative Research in the fields of philosophy, history of science, and science and society (bioethics, biotechnology, etc.). Professor Louis Hunt co-edited the book, Liberalism, Conservatism, and Hayek's Idea of Spontaneous Order Louis Hunt coordinated a Liberty Fund Conference on "Civil Society, Markets, and Liberty" in La Jolla, CA, February 10-13, 2005. Presented a paper entitled "The Origin and Scope of Hayek’s Idea of Spontaneous Order" at Utah State University. |
