Make a gift to the Douglas J. Hoekstra Endowment for the Study of American Politics and Political Institutions

This endowment was created by the generous gifts of Doug’s students, colleagues, friends, and family. Professor Hoekstra was always a strong advocate for the study of American politics and political institutions at James Madison College, especially the U.S. Presidency. He was a faculty member at the college for over 35 year. The Hoekstra Endowment provides financial support for a Madison student participating in a Madison Field Experience semester long internship and other activities that involve the study of American politics and political institutions.
