Current Students

The James Madison College curriculum is made up of University requirements, College requirementsCurrent Students, Major requirements, and electives.  Most students complete about 30 credits per year. About half of these credits are taken in Madison classes taught by Madison faculty. The remainder come from a variety of other colleges and departments on campus. Information for Current Students

The Office of Academic Affairs is the central information resource for all James Madison College students. The College maintains and monitor s students' academic records and academic progress for all students in the College. It supports faculty in their advising capacity.

Any changes to your enrollment status, such as withdrawal from the University, enrollment corrections, and any other major changes will be handled through this office.

Staff advisors are available to answer any questions regarding College and University programs and requirements, to explain academic policies and procedures, and to refer students to resources across the University.

Students experiencing academic difficulties are strongly encouraged to visit this office for assistance.
