JMC Alumni Career DayConfirmed Alumni Panelists for Career Day 2008 He received his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Michigan State University–Detroit College of Law where he was articles editor for the Law Review . His undergraduate degree in international relations is from Michigan State University 's James Madison College where he was elected to its Alumni Association Board of Directors in 2003, and is currently a member of the Young Alumni Committee for the Michigan State University National Alumni Association. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Macomb County Bar Association (Young Lawyers' Section). Mr. Warren practices in Michigan state courts, the Eastern District of Michigan, the Western District of Michigan, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and has handled matters in the Northern District of Ohio, Northern District of Illinois, Middle District of Tennessee, and the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Mr. Warren co-authored with Jerome Watson “I Heard It Through the Grapevine:Evidentiary Challenges in Racially Hostile Work Environment Litigation,” The Labor Lawyer, 2004, as well as authored, "The Controversy over the Duration of an Employer's Obligation to Continue to Provide Health and Welfare Benefits to Retirees," presented at ABA Equal Employment Opportunity Committee – Mid-Winter Meeting in March 2002, and at the November 1, 2006 Miller Canfield Labor and Employment Group Seminar. He has also given numerous talks regarding religious discrimination, age discrimination and the avoidance and handling of complex and class action lawsuits.
