Jonathon Koenigsberg – MSU Hillel

Jonathon Koenigsberg is the associate director and director of development for the Lester J. Morris Hillel Jewish Student Center at Michigan State University. Since 2004, Jonathon has coordinated MSU Hillel's financial resource development efforts – helping the organization's development program grow exponentially corresponding with the organization's growth of student interest, especially since the dedication of the Lester J. Morris Hillel Center in 2002. Jonathon also works closely with the organization's executive director on board development and budget and organizational management.

Prior to joining the Hillel staff in 2004, Jonathon worked in the Offices of the MSU President and Board of Trustees. In what began as his Madison field experience and evolved into a staff position, Jonathon's work focused on communications projects and external relations matters – including responsibilities for coordination of speeches and talking points for the President and members of the Board of Trustees. Jonathon was also involved in the coordination of activities and projects related to the university's 2005 sesquicentennial celebration.

Concurrent with his positions with MSU and now with MSU Hillel, Jonathon also serves as a camp director with Willoway Summer Day Camp in West Bloomfield. As a member of the camp's leadership team, Jonathon's responsibilities include management of day to day operation as well as long term planning for the camp which is celebrating its 40 th summer. He has been involved with Willoway since he was about 5 years old (clearly longevity says something).

Jonathon is a 1997 graduate of James Madison College where he earned his undergraduate degree in political theory and constitutional democracy as well as a concentration in the modern Jewish experience. He received his J.D. degree from Michigan State University–Detroit College in 2000. Jonathon is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Oakland County Bar Association. He is also a life member of MSU's Alumni Association, a member of Madison College's Founder's Circle and a member of MSU's Beaumont Tower Society.
