JMC Alumni Career DayConfirmed Alumni Panelists for Career Day 2008 Prior to working as a lobbyist, he was a legislative aide to Senator George A. McManus, Jr. where he handled budget, policy and constituent matters for the Senator. Michael also spent four years with the Speaker of the House of Representatives where he was a legislative analyst charged with various responsibilities including political activities and elections. Michael Frederick is a graduate of Michigan State University and received his Juris Doctorate from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He also serves as the Vice Chairman of both the Lansing Township Planning Commission and the Lansing Township Brownfield Redevelopment Authority. Lastly, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Ingham County Economic Development Corporation and as Secretary of the Ingham County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority.
