JMC JOBS is meant to be a starting point for your employment and internship search (Field Experience students also look at the Field Experience Database). It will provide you with ideas of websites to bookmark and search that you may not have known existed. It will give you ideas of paid positions and internships that are available for Madison students. Some of the jobs listed are “foot in the door” opportunities in a city of preference (i.e. Washington D.C.) and some of the jobs are entry level with potential to move up quickly (like those from USAjobs).

Remember, cast your net widely. Be sure that you have had your resume and cover letter reviewed by a trusted professional. Make sure you pay attention to detail and present polished documents, specific to each position.
