Position Description:    Conducts aptitude and qualification examinations at the MEPS and Military Entrance Test (MET) sites for the applicants of the various Armed Services. Ensures 100% security and accountability of all accountable test material when conducting test sessions. Scores enlistment and high school ASVAB tests using an Optical Mark Reader (OMR) scanner. Will operate a variety of office automation equipment including personal computers., facsimile machines, scanners, digital copiers, Personal Digital Assistants (PDA), and industrial sheredders. Answers phone, personal and e-mail queries from recruiters, liasions, (some) applicants, school representatives, other MEPS, Sector, and HQ MEPCOM. Assists in the conduct of test material inventories as required and ensures strict accountability and security of all testing materials. Participates in required training activities, when assigned. Performs maunal search of high school ASVAB scores in files, and when found places the results in applicant records.

Responsibilities:    The holder of this position will be entrusted with the following main tasks: working in the area of data processing and management, supporting the activities of the Division; contributing to the Division’s support for committees and working groups, including the preparation of briefings, notes and papers of an analytical nature; contributing to the work of the Division as regards structural analysis of the banking sector and financial integration; performing quantitative analyses of the potential impact of regulatory and supervisory developments, including financial stability arrangements; developing and maintaining large datasets on the banking and financial sectors, processing data with the aid of statistical packages, producing tables and charts, accessing public and commercial databases, and investigating data sources.

Familiarity with international banking and financial data, as well as with accounting and statistical concepts, would be an asset. Very good command of English. Very good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
