Position Description: Conducts aptitude and qualification examinations at the MEPS and
Military Entrance Test (MET) sites for the applicants of the various Armed
Services. Ensures 100% security and accountability of all accountable test
material when conducting test sessions. Scores enlistment and high school ASVAB
tests using an Optical Mark Reader (OMR) scanner. Will operate a variety of
office automation equipment including personal computers., facsimile machines,
scanners, digital copiers, Personal Digital Assistants (PDA), and industrial
sheredders. Answers phone, personal and e-mail queries from recruiters,
liasions, (some) applicants, school representatives, other MEPS, Sector, and HQ
MEPCOM. Assists in the conduct of test material inventories as required and
ensures strict accountability and security of all testing materials.
Participates in required training activities, when assigned. Performs maunal
search of high school ASVAB scores in files, and when found places the results
in applicant records.

Description: The Financial
Supervision Division is one of the two divisions in the Directorate Financial
Stability and Supervision. The Division is responsible for analysing policy
issues relating to the regulation and supervision of financial institutions, in
particular banks and financial services (e.g. securities markets and
accounting), from the perspective of both financial stability and financial
integration. It assesses regulatory and supervisory developments and
contributes to related policy discussions at European and international level,

authorities. The Division provides support to the Banking Supervision Committee
and its sub-structures.
Responsibilities: The
holder of this position will be entrusted with the following main tasks: working
in the area of data processing and management, supporting the activities of the
Division; contributing to the Division’s support for committees and working
groups, including the preparation of briefings, notes and papers of an
analytical nature; contributing to the work of the Division as regards
structural analysis of the banking sector and financial integration; performing
quantitative analyses of the potential impact of regulatory and supervisory
developments, including financial stability arrangements; developing and

data with the aid of statistical packages, producing tables and charts,
accessing public and commercial databases, and investigating data sources.
Qualifications: The successful candidate must have the following knowledge and
competencies: University degree in economics, finance, statistics or related

academic qualification. At least two years’ proven professional experience in
the management and processing of data. Strong analytical ability and
familiarity with data and information analysis as regards developments in the
financial sector and financial integration. Familiarity with financial market
data sources (e.g. DataStream and Bloomberg) and knowledge of statistical
programs (e.g. Stata, S-PLUS and MATLAB) would be an asset. Familiarity with
international banking and financial data, as well as with accounting and
statistical concepts, would be an asset. Very good command of English. Very
