Public Interest Internship Program- The Center for Science and Public Interest- All summer 2009 internships have been filled. Generally, an internship is for ten weeks. Undergraduate interns are paid an hourly wage of $8.25/hour ($9.25/hour for graduate students). The specific dates of an internship are flexible and depend on our needs and the applicant's schedule. Competition for the six to eight spots available is very tough. Interns work closely with CNAS staff and are given considerable responsibility. This position exercises considerable initiative and independent judgment and works under the general supervision of a Deputy City Manager.
