Social Networking Internship, Marijuana Policy Project- The Marijuana
Policy Project, the nation's largest marijuana policy reform group, is hiri=
ng a
fall intern to help manage our online social networking profiles. This is an
unpaid, part-time internship (8-16 hours per week), with class credit
available. This internship has few similarities to a traditional internship.
You will not be getting coffee, stuck at a photocopier all day, or hidden i=
n a
dark corner with nothing to do. You'll be doing real, substantive work,
surrounded by smart people, and you'll be helping to change laws. Specifica=
lly?
You'll be responding to the hundreds of questions and comments that pour in=
to
MPP's Face book, Twitter, MySpace, and other social networking sites each d=
ay,
posting responses
that are friendly and informative, and that hopefully make people get more
involved.
<b style=3D'mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'>Experience: You need to be rea=

smart and write well, without embarrassing comma splices or apostrophe abus=

And you need some humility, because we're going to give you guidelines and =
even
some form letters to use in responding; it's not going to be the Wild West.=
And
you need to be able to hold your own in a fast-paced, professional environm=

and work reasonably independently. Interested? <b style=3D'mso-bidi-font-we=
